hey, i’m megan! product designer in nyc, born and raised in texas ✿
Unlock a bit of my lore—get to know how stan culture, being chronically online, and a bit of being in the right place at the right time brought me to product design.

At the ripe age of 11, I started sharing fan graphics on Instagram and Tumblr.
I made my first “designs” on a Google Nexus, and I learned basic CSS customizing my Tumblr. When flat design had its big moment in 2015, I <borrowed> Adobe Illustrator to learn.
Fandom still brings out the creative in me—you can still find me passing out freebies at concerts and illustrating fanart.

I graduated from USC in 2025, where I studied engineering but self taught design.
I was a chemical engineering major freshman year. Despite dabbling in the digital arts for years, design as a career never crossed my mind—that is, until a club called Innovative Design pitched to me at the Fall Involvement Fair.
I eventually went on to lead marketing and client relations at InnoD, designed for social good at Code the Change, and built product 0 → 1 at LavaLab, among other involvements.
I met many of my best friends through these communities <3

Between browsers and prompts, I like to do things the slow way.
I mess with mud and color, bake treats to pawn them off to friends, and start maintain a storage box’s worth of abandoned crochet & knit wips.
I’m extremely ADHD when it comes to my offline hobbies—there’s nothing like sinking my teeth into uncharted territory, rabbitholing down short-form tutorials and exploring new media with wonder and play.
That’s not to say I never fight the urge to get good... recent works I’m quite proud of below.
